Eduardo Gomes informa que uma comissão especial deve ser instaurada no Senado nesta semana para debater a proposta. Ele destaca a importância deste debate, especialmente após a suspensão das ações de importantes nomes do setor, como Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg e Bill Gates.
A Proteção de Dados Pessoais e a Propriedade dos Dados
A Emenda Constitucional (EC) 115(https://normas.leg.br/?urn=urn:lex:br:federal:emenda.constitucional:2022-02-10,115) já assegura a proteção de dados pessoais entre os direitos e garantias fundamentais. Entretanto, Gomes ressalta que a propriedade dos dados não está protegida.
> ‘A associação dos aposentados, os funcionários públicos, os sindicalistas, os políticos, todos desde que nascemos até o dia em que Deus nos chama, temos agora na Constituição a proteção, mas o uso mercantil dos dados, de todos os dados, ainda é dessas instituições que não aparecem diretamente, mas que fazem a manutenção, a manipulação de tudo que nós estamos vivendo,’ conclui o parlamentar.
